As an austenitic basic steel grade, X5CrNi19-9 stainless steel pipe has a wide range of uses. X5CrNi19-9 stainless steel pipe has excellent corrosion and heat resistance, excellent low temperature strength and mechanical properties, it has excellent forming and welding characteristics. X5CrNi19-9 stainless steel pipe compared with stainless steel austenitic steel, its corrosion resistance is lower. However, due to its high chromium content, the grade is resistant to stress corrosion cracking, to which most conventional austenitic steels are very sensitive. X5CrNi19-9 stainless steel pipe is suitable for the manufacture of automotive parts, mufflers, windscreen wipers and moulded products.
