During cold deformation, the plasticity is medium, the machinability and weldability are acceptable, but the parts need to be preheated to more than 200℃ before welding. Wire drawing and cold heading and heat treatment process performance is good, higher hardenability, in the oil critical quenching diameter of 6.5 ~ 18mm, quenching deformation is small, but there is overheating, decarbonization sensitivity and tempering brittleness. The tempered steel has high strength, toughness and wear resistance, and good static strength and fatigue strength.
